My Story
My Story
I’m Bharti Gupta, a third-generation Vastu consultant living in Canada and practicing Vastu for over 20 years. Vastu is an ancient Indian science on the system of architecture, particularly integrating architecture with nature and function. This knowledge was passed down to me from my grandfather Shri Nandkishore Jhajharia, and uncle Shri Vimal Jhajharia.
In 2000, Vastu Shastra was still an emerging field with limited awareness among people in North America. In my early years in Toronto, I consulted, designed, and decorated homes based on the principles of Vastu Shastra. Incorporating these principles in homes and workplaces yielded great results in people's personal and professional lives and my practice flourished.
Most of the consulting I did involved clients going through tough times in their personal lives, be it relating to health, relationships, financial issues, career, or the like.
Navigating through these situations for over a decade started to affect my mental health as I would find it very difficult to disassociate myself from my clients’ issues.
Turning Point
In 2016, life gave me an opportunity to experience Vipassana meditation. By following the techniques of Vipassana, I was able to experience the five elements of nature - earth, air, fire, water, and space - in the realm of my own body. A surreal experience that completely healed my mind and body and changed the way I looked at homes moving forward.
Everything is perfect!
What I learned is that Good and Bad are just one's perceptions. DO NOT JUDGE. I developed a deeper understanding of this truth during my meditation practices and applied this newfound learning to my knowledge of Vastu Shastra for more powerful and refreshing results.
In my years of practice, I have noticed a lot of worry in people's minds regarding Vastu doshas, such as the position of the main entrance, toilets, kitchen, staircase, etc. People believe that if these elements are not in a particular direction then it will bring bad luck to them.
Today with my newfound understanding, I can say with complete confidence that there is no truth in these beliefs and such beliefs are only being fueled by fear-mongering content floating on the internet.
My Goal
In the future, my goal is to remove the worry from people’s minds by showing them the strengths of their house, identifying weak and stagnant energies, and providing effective solutions that transform weak energies into strong ones to achieve desired results!

The Power of Vibrations
I have always been drawn to spiritual sciences, charitable causes, and service to the community. Helping others through Vastu and Numerology, and taking leadership positions in charitable causes gives me immense satisfaction and a sense of purpose.
I would often get asked, why I do what I do. Initially, I thought the reason for this was the environment in which I grew up. My mother is very spiritual with intuitive power and both of my parents have been very charitable and encouraged my siblings and me to make giving a part of our DNA. Today, with the knowledge of Vastu and numerology, I now understand that while my upbringing does have a hand in what I do, my name and birth date number vibrations play a major role in why I do what I do.
Understanding your vibrations through numerology and Vastu provides you with insight into things that are suited to you. It is not to suggest that you cannot do something else if that’s where your current interest lies. But when you focus your energies on what you are destined to do, you will enjoy what you do even more and grow and succeed! Unconsciously, I had chosen the path that was meant for me!
